Remove G-Talk and Skype reset?

Well, I'm planning to change the plug in we use for displaying the skype icon. But we are going to loose the G-Talk.

The advantages of the new plug-in is that other plug-ins aren't that bothered with the added code and the mod has less code.

But I'm doubting if the mod works the same way. It might happen that you all need to add your skype again. Would this be a big issue?

probably not, I'm sure by this point everyone has eachother (or those they want to talk to) on skype.
By that I mean, it won't cause any inconvenience in the time it takes to add it again. Nobody is gonna be all like "Ohh, where's this guys skype, I wanted to add him "

Yeah agreed. And with a bit of luck I can save the database and do some SQL trickery.

Scrap this idea, since I can't get the other plug in to run without messing up the others.
Plus, it will break images and all that jazz. And it doesn't give much admin options.

This issue is pushed back to later versions of the forum. I mainly want the ability that you can give in your Skype at the registration, since that isn't possible yet.
