Keyboard stuck in UK layout!

My keyboard is stuck with the British keyboard layout. I hate the British, how do I change this?

I don't hate the British, the real issue is that the layout is different than what I see on my keyboard. (Pressing shift + 2 brings up a doube quote mark than the @ sign, and vice versa. I could get used to this, but this might annoy anyone else who uses my computer and I'd have to babysit them through the whole session. I know how to change layouts, but it ain't working. The only language in my setup is English US and still it's stuck to English UK.

Oh, I had that problem before. Which version of Windows are you using?

Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Keyboard Language -> Change Keyboard Language.

Yes, and you can remove the UK language and such. To avoid it happening again.

Like I said, I know how to change it. The problem is that it still persists even when there is only English US in the config.

That's odd. Maybe try to look with uninstallers if there is the UK language pack installed. Remove that.
