Keyboard stuck in UK layout!

(1/2) > >>

senpai_FisT:
My keyboard is stuck with the British keyboard layout. I hate the British, how do I change this?

(click to show/hide)I don't hate the British, the real issue is that the layout is different than what I see on my keyboard. (Pressing shift + 2 brings up a doube quote mark than the @ sign, and vice versa. I could get used to this, but this might annoy anyone else who uses my computer and I'd have to babysit them through the whole session. I know how to change layouts, but it ain't working. The only language in my setup is English US and still it's stuck to English UK.

NekoJonez:
Oh, I had that problem before. Which version of Windows are you using?

Seraph:
Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Keyboard Language -> Change Keyboard Language.

Assuming you're on Windows 7.

Yes, and you can remove the UK language and such. To avoid it happening again.

senpai_FisT:
Like I said, I know how to change it. The problem is that it still persists even when there is only English US in the config.
