.HLP Freezing
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:25:36 AM »
I recently starting working with a new software and was trying to learn the ins and outs of it. But, when going into the help menu, to see the tutorials, it cannot be read. Windows Vista doesn't support the .HLP format that the help tutorial was written in. A simple search directed me to the windows service page to install an update so that I could read .HLP files. However, when I attempt to install the updates, the computer freezes, and it forces me to force shut down my computer.

Any ideas how I can install the update without a freeze, or, an alternative way to access .HLP tutorial archives?
