What is this for? Karma systems have always proven to tear communities apart with 'elitism' and such negativities

Miz wanted to add that in. It's to avoid people from abusing the battle system. But I might take it out if it starts to rip our community apart or when it's barely used.

How is the karma system supposed to work now? Even though I don't particularily care for the feature, there is no longer an option to 'exalt' or 'mark down' someones karma, was this intentional?

It's intentional.

With negative karma gone, it's now basically just a counter for how many "likes" a member gets.

Move the applaud thing to posts than user and you're set.

You don't applaud the post, you applaud the user. If someone does something that tickles your fancy so much you'd give them hugs and kisses, give them karma instead.

I think it's set to every half hour now.

Yes. I removed the negative karma because I wanted to avoid arguments because of it.

Well, we are both right. Karma doesn't allow negative integers because if you use the total option like we do... I can't have a negative integer at applaud because it makes it 0. That's where I'm right.

You are right, if I put it at the smite part, it'll display as -666. So yeah.
