Sometimes, when using bbcode in general, or the buttons, the text will randomly change to 78% scale. Further use of bbcode after this point will cause the tags to reverse so that the end command comes before the start command. In addition, any new button presses will continue the bug. It can be annoying.  It Why this happens I do not know, but it has been a reoccurring bug for the past several Arpegi shells/updates. The last time I found this bug, I was able to post a video in the thread I first found this in.

This shows the bugged code is not influenced by a preset font size for a defined line, but has something to do with the bb buttons

I've addressed it before, and it has been a reoccurring bug I've seen. Maybe I'm the only one, but I know I'm not improperly using the buttons.

It randomly happens after either manually typing out the tags, or using the tag buttons. However, it is more common, I find, after using a tag button. I recorded a video last time of it happening on its own accord

Helpful might clearing your cache and maybe re-installing your browser?

Do you have other browsers on your device? If so, test it out with them.

I have an internet explorer that is so out of date it wont run the interwebs, in addition, I can't update it, because the IE update page doesn't support the IE I have ... which... is kinda stupid. I have firefox too, so I'll try on firefox now

Since I barely see this bug with other people, and you are the first to report it, I'm trying to sure if the issue isn't browser based. Since I'm really confused at were the problem might be.

so... uh... Jonezey, not sure if you're gonna like this, but, uh, I couldn't replicate the bug in firefox, however, the tag buttons don't generate an end tag for me now Not sure if it's a bug or I just have a fucked up laptop.

Also, I cleared my cache, in chrome, and it still occurs.

Also, in firefox, you can click and drag the size of the emotes (is that supposed to happen?) however, it is only cosmetic and makes no difference to the final post

The tags that cause it the most are youtube, spoiler and quote. Quote most often.

I am using the latest version of Chrome and Firefox 26.0

For Quote, I haven't modified anything.

I actually use v34 of Chrome (Do keep in mind that it's a dev version)
And Firefox v27 beta.

In the vid the tooltip from one of the emoticons popped up. Just before you clicked the button. That's the strange thing.
