Well I think its better left at a simple warning until people begin acting up again. I mean even I can't say I've never spammed here before, but I make mistakes, so do others.
At least they can't say they haven't been warned.

Then we'll disable the post count here so there is no motive. At least the spammers won't be getting any glory from it.
But this is just a warning for now, if I see more spam than I care to overlook then I'm gonna ask Jonez to disable the post count.

So you are okay with people asking questions for the simple rise in posts? I thought this was about the members getting to know each other. Well its just my opinion that we shouldn't reward spam questions with posts and I can't go through every post that is made to double check that spam wasn't posted. There needs to be some sort of way to stop spam, cutting off the reward system (post count) in the MS section seems to be the only logical solution. However again, its just my opinion.

Well I can't be sure if everyone thinks the same was as you do. I can't read minds so I can only assume that a few people here have the intention to just post to raise post count. I could be wrong but its just the way I'm seeing it at the moment.

The only benifit of a higher post count I see is one more rep block and a new rep name, thats it >_>

Well some people see it as a badge of honor, the rising numbers stimulates them. Heck I know because I'm one of them, I totally love the rising numbers and I admit to spamming myself. But obviously I'm changing my ways, I went to spam rehab and came out spam free......for the most part >_>

Anyhoo lets just say that some people enjoy that stuff.

Not necessarily, its a discussion thread. So long as it has something to do with the MS then its fine. Which it has~

Due to the rules of MS, Cubed has invoked the right to halt his current MS until his return. So the next MS may come a little late, along with the Redux. Thanks for your co-operation.

Why did you lock it though? We could still ask questions and he can answer on his return

My best guess is to not let it be FLOODED by 1 million questions when he comes back.

(the million might be a bit ... too much but you get the idea.)

The locked aspect was his request, I'm just fulfilling what was requested by the MS holder.
However I greatly urge that the rules be changed to there being a limit to how long the MS be postponed, but this current system of "user can request more or less" is rather flawed.

If that's the case, then I'm surprised that he didn't consider that the ones asking the question can just put his/her questions in a notepad, thereby increasing the number of questions. Then after the MS reopens, the people asking can just flood him with who-knows-how-many questions in just one post.

....Do you get my idea, people? >:D

Good point, well made. I personally wanted the MS's to proceed smoothly without any halting or postponing. But the rules state otherwise.

The sneaky thing is he had an hour left. He called his postpone before the hour was up so by the rules his rights as an MS holder were still in effect.
Again, thats also why when he gets back, I'm changing the rules.
