I don't "hate" the 3rd and 4th gens. i'm just not a fan of them...

When making the 5th gen, their creativity went into making only a few of the pokemon, the others are just lazy productions

I personally thought that the 3rd gen was by far the most creative o.o

and yes there are Pokemon MMORPG's, there is Pokemon World Online (which is super hard to get an account approved) and Pokemonium (which is super easy to get an account approved but its kinda buggy, but still pretty cool).
I'm surprised you didn't see the thread in the PC section for both of them o.o
