Okay so I played this game a while back, but I recently put it back on my PSP and damn I forgot how awesome it is. Like not only the gameplay is better but the story is great too. And you don't have to play as that annoying Sora anymore =3
Anyhoo, so what are your experiences with the game?

I HATED that fight, especially when you have to fight him in that dark place and rotate the analog to beat him. Which was hard since I have no plastic on my analog and now its just a spike hanging out of the PSP, hurt so....so....so much. Cry of relief when I finally did it xD

Just guard, pretty much all of his attacks are guardable except for the charged shot. The beauty of this is that all his shots will reflect back at him if guarded against. So yeah, you needn't even swing your keyblade for that fight :p

I loved the game. the only thing I hated was that THE SAME FUCKING SONG PLAYED THE WHOLE FUCKING GAME.

Besides that, Every other part of the game was good :3

I don't even know how to properly guard, so I unequip that to have room for other things.

Believe me, guarding is something you will have to learn and always have in order to survive some of the hardest bosses in the game.

Masked boy in the Badlands follows a very repetative battle script, he will always disappear after you string three hits with your keyblade, so stick to short combos (two hits) if you don't feel like dodging, however if you do then go ahead and chain the three hits together, but be prepared to dodge immediately after, blocking does nothing by the way.
Assuming that you are a respectable level this should not really be -too- hard, but after a while Mickey will intervene and you both will fight Masked boy, stick to the reserved battle style if you don't feel confident and let Mickey do most of the work, if you want the battle to end fast then unleash your fury on Masked boy by using a combo of magnet attacks (he has a strangely hard time dodging this) followed by a short burst of keyblade hits. Or if possible get your hands on the thunder/flame surge attacks and make multiple copies, spam them, and practically bully Masked boy to death.

If that didn't help then tell me specifically what kind of trouble you are having~

Alright, well I got him without hitting him with the keyblade, I just used Firaga, Blizzaga, Ignite and Cura.
Although now I can't even get the space unversed down to anything, I an only get him to about halfway on the first bar...

this is one of psp's best games ever
it took a while for me to beat the whole game
But it was full of excitement!
