Example:

To make this

Into this:

And actually a collage... Sounds intersting as well.

That's uhh... I'm not sure, really. How are you supposed to vote for the winner? Like, based on what criteria?

So... I provide an image, and then the members are supposed to just do whatever they think will look good to the image using whatever program.

Is that right?

You can do things like: Mess it up, make something different out of it (make it look like another logo or something), "enhance it"... Like with the Skype logo ... draw a telephone or a mic by it... Stuff like that.

Well, we might end up having competitions in more than just the graphics section, so hopefully that'll pique the interest of some more members. Not a sure thing yet, though.

I have a few ideas, though they are kind of simplistic, require more good placement than graphical skill.

1) Demotivational Posters- We could do "Demotivational Poster contests". A demotivational poster is basically this: http://www.marcofolio.net/images/stories/fun/imagedump/demotivational_posters/elephants.jpg
A normal pic, which is captioned for comedic effect.

One way we could do this is by Light offering us a single picture and we have to caption it and make it as funny as possible. The site used to make these is: http://bighugelabs.com/motivator.php
Its extremely easy to do, no graphic skill required, only average amount of common sense.

2) Meme Production- We could try our hand at producing a meme? I haven't fully thought this through but there seems to be so many running around lately that you never know, we might just be able to do it. If not then we could just vote on who did the best one, regardless if any of them are upto awesome meme standard. If you don't know what a meme is......then you have never lived =___=

3) Paint storyboarding- this is essentially the same as Intentionally bad drawings except for one thing. Light must give us a short story, we must sum it up in a story board manner using the program paint. Its obviously going to be terrible but its whoever manages to pull it off relatively well is the one who gets the cake =3

4) Caption Competition- My old forum used to do this, I think I requested this a while ago but was given no feedback.
Basically we are provided with a page from a manga, the speech bubbles are all cleared. So all that is left is the characters actions and empty speech bubbles. The goal is to fill in the speech bubbles with either dramatic, funny or whatever you want, so long as you are sure you can gain the votes of others.

I did suggest #4 but no one except Chatbot gave any feedback. #1 and #3 sound okay, but I don't think #2 would work out quite well.

I like intentionally bad drawings.

We've done that already.... if anything make it a bi annual contest (held twice a year) If we always do this then I just wont compete because it'll get old and boring
