Your parents want you to finish High School first? And doesn't accountancy have a high pay?

I'm in college. I've already finished high school.
They want me to finish college so I have better chances at getting a job and also a higher pay when I do get a job.
The problem is I want to be able to program, but I don't like it. And I don't want to make my job of it either.
Also if I said now "fuck it I'm out" now idk what sort of problems I'd get into.

Your parents are right though, the more qualifications you have the easier it is to get a job, bear in mind you are competing with many many many other individuals, most of whom have already been to college and passed. Its better that you stay imo

I'm getting bad grades and I'm falling behind like I'm moving backwards.

Yes, more than once. All possible scenarios. I even consider every job opening I come along.

Isn't that more initiative to give it one last go, just to try real hard just one more time. And hey, if you fail yet again, then fine you have all the reason to drop out if you feel you are going nowhere. But its best just to try your best one more time, really give it the effort.

I can't do something like that without losing my sanity. It could turn out real bad.

I'm sorta in the same boat as you right now Miz. I've been doing badly in college these past few months. Mainly because I'm tired of it and I just want to get a job now. But there's also the real issue that I have no clue what I want to do with my life. So yeah, I'm currently drifting through college with absolutely no idea what career I want but the drive to WANT to work.

Can't you take a year out and get a job for a bit? The world outside school is kinda hard, rent to pay,  food to buy etc, you might not be able to even afford internet. But saying that, some people are just not meant for school. Me for example. Theres nothing wrong with quitting school if you know you can make it, and enjoy it more, but you wont know until you have to graft like a slave to survive. Take a year to try, see if you can make things happen.
