Grammar Errors
« on: April 21, 2012, 02:17:45 PM »
So like today when I went out to the Strand (shopping center) and some guy bumped into me and knocked my bags over, so the conversation was as follows

Me: Uhhh, what the hell was that for?

Guy: What? I didn't do nuthin.

Me:....so....you're saying you did something?

Guy: Uhhh no, I said I didn't do nuthin

Me: But by saying you didn't do -nothing- you have obviously done -something-

Guy: *guy walks away*

Me: *smiles*

This encounter was actually rather humorous, though I was quite flustered when it happened.
So, anyone else have encounters like this?

YOLO means You Only Live Once. It comes from the deathcore/post-hxc band Suicide Silence and t's overused.

AKA Puns are awesome if people accidentally make them when they misspell a word.

How would the latter definition work anyway?
I mean who in their right mind could crack that code?, and if everyone knows the code......then what is the entire point of having the code, its the same as saying the actual meaning. Silly girls

Since nobody is actually on topic, and everyone treats every topic like a spam topic - but let's ignore that for a bit, shall we? - I've never really felt the need to correct people's grammar in speech. It annoys me greatly in text, because wrong grammar in text stays that way until corrected, but I give certain leeway in speech because of things like slang.
