Apparently the medicine boffins at some medical center (yeah you can see how much I looked into this) have speculated that a simple genetics test could predict breast cancer in women years before they are diagnosed.
Since this is science related and not really up my street, I'll just give you the link and you can see what I'm trying to say.
But in short, this seems like a pretty big leap for medicine, yet again!

There already are 2 cures... One is illegal in most countries and the other is yet to be perfected so there won't be any side-effects.

Not exactly, the cure is actually quite simple and one of the chemicals "dichloroacetate" is used to treat metabolic disorders. But because of this the cure cannot be patented and thus there is no real money to be made in it. So nobody will waste their money distributing it.
And I doubt they will for a long while, this world revolves around money :p

And now their next job is to find a way to teach young people some proper english, that duckfaces aren't pretty, that they aren't hot shit, and that no there is no way you can have sex but have a 0% chance of getting pregnant.
