Ok, I'm behind the times and I know most of you guys like handhelds, but this wasn't released in Europe and I'm not keen on handhelds. Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 is awesome. Well, it's awesome for an old GBA handheld game, it's never gonna win best game ever, but I feel it deserves a special mention. I'm addicted.

I prefer the first one myself. Sure, there's only one dungeon, but I like the feeling of being a real craftknight working the forge everyday instead of an adventurer who just happens to be a craftknight. Storywise, they're both great in their own unique ways, SM:SS 1 just edges out slightly better IMO.

This game blew me away when I first played, simply because I have never played a game like this one ever before!

(Plus, the lesbian/gay lines were funny too.)

While I haven't finished the second one, I absolutely love them both! I enjoy the gameplay/battle style as well as the plot.
But mainly the plot.
Chuz it's cute.
