Title: Games for a 3-4 year old?
Post by: senpai_FisT on October 24, 2014, 06:36:03 PM
Games that can be played on a PC that's suitable for 4 year old kid? Not just content-wise, they must be able to understand what's going on.

Freddi Fish and such. They might not get it all, but there are many things for them to enjoy.

Going along with what Jonez said, I'd recommend any humongous entertainment game for the younger audience. Sure it's almost two decades old but it made up a lot of my childhood.
I believe Fatty Bear in particular was designed for toddlers around that age, but most of the games are great for a small kid.

For something a little more educational, The Learning Company's Reader Rabbit series also has games for 3-4 year olds iirc.

If you're looking for regular games with simplified plot/gameplay, why not hand the kid some nintendo thangs? : D /shot

Maybe not Pokémon bro. I don't think they will get it enough in order to play it.
Maybe any platformer like Mario will do.

I think LocoRoco might be a good choice. Kirby games are also possible options. You'd have to emulate both, though.

Ok,I'll be serious here.

Observing my brother,I can safely say that kids absolutely love Lego games

I personally suggest Lego Marvle Suprheroes. It's by far the most easily accessable one.

I played Pokemon Red at around age 4 and I understood it enough to enjoy it

I worked with 4 year old kids who didn't understand Pokémon at all.

The classic ones or the new ones? The classics are pretty dumbed-down and simple, not much needed to understand there

When you're 4, all you need to know about pokemon is "YAH CATCH AAAAAAAAAAAAALL THE STRANGE CREATURES. KILL THEM ALL TOO. AND KILL EVERYTHING."
When you're older, it's still all you need to know.
