So a friend of mine has agreed to host a hamachi minecraft server (Thats right Jonez so now even you can get in on the fun) and we will be playing hunger games on it.
Although we are going to be doing it a lil different all the rules still apply. (Look on the site for the rules as I'm too lazy to post em :P)
We are going to be doing this in teams of 2 or 4.
Right now I estimate we have around 7-9 people here with Minecraft that will be willing to particapate in it.
We are still working on a date/dates to do it on, so if you have any suggestions just say so :P

Teams? You should have the option of playing alone or teaming up. That's kinda what the Hunger Games are about.

My FRAPS is glitched to where it can only record once per day or I turn off the computer for about 4 hours.

I got myself WeGame. Works like a charm. HD, high fps, easy start, restart and stopping of recording.

Yes, from 3 different angles (Cupquake, SSoh and Sly)
Idk if it would be better if we had our own map. People might comment it's not very original and stuff.

I have good news.
Chandler Riggs, a.k.a. Carl from The Walking Dead series is making a Minecraft Hunger Games map on his server.
I asked if we were allowed to use it he said YES.
We could join his events or host our own events on it.

Upon game start all players are to head to the bottom floor of the start area and pick a tube. Players also must close the door behind them so people can see which tubes are taken.
You may not break any blocks except for the following: Leaves, wood logs (not planks) tall grass, vines, mushrooms, pumpkins, melons, gravel, cobblestone ( not smoothstone), sand, TNT, any type of ore, and glowstone.
You may not place any blocks except for crafting benches, furnaces, TNT, Levers, Pressure Plates, Redstone Dust, Buttons, and brewing stands. Remember: you cannot remove them once they are placed so be careful where you place them!
Crafting is allowed.
Only one person can win.
No leaving the islands (the islands are surrounded by miles of water. Anybody caught swimming aimlessly out in one direction can be punished at the admin/gamemakers discretion.
IP is 5.226.9.44 port should be 25565

What happens if you accidently break the ground while fighting off an enemy? I mean its not unheard of to rapidly slash, the enemy moves out the way and your weapon strikes the wall behind it, or the ground possibly.

It would be kinda strange to one-hit a block by accident with a weapon, since you won't get anything else than weapons. 1 warning will be given though, for I am kind.

Your timelimit is your life.
Lots of things will be around to kill you, but I think enemy players will be the most dangerous.
The map is not THAT large either.

Well, not really decided. But a Première! (test round) should take place this weekend.
We've pretty much finished preparing everything already and are now just working on the small details.

We did a test run, though, which turned out to be quite good^^
The only problem we encountered: We didn't seem to find each other... so it took a while to start a fight.
Which is excatly why more people should participate :)
