Title: PSP Memory stick help
Post by: Cupcake Fury on July 03, 2012, 02:31:09 PM
Alright, so today when I started my psp and started listening to music, it would just stop the music about halfway through the song and the X, O and shoulder buttons wouldnt work and I would have to take out the battery to restart it.
Now I am assuming this is a memory stick problem so is it time for a new one?

Get a USB adapter for it. (Lots of computers don't have a slot for it-mine included)

Take this lesson...

In order to format an SD... you have to have it connect in ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

this happened to me except it had nothing to do with the memory stock. I can only imagine that if the system is processig too much information then it will crash just like how you say. o.o

settings -> system settings -> format memory stick™
I don't know if other PSP have it differently I'm using a PSP 2000

but of course only do this when you don't want to backup; losing saves is a pain
