After doing so much good, Invisible Children co-founder and the man behind Kony 2012, Jason Russell,fell apart emotionally and wound up stripping, reportedly masturbating and vandalizing cars in the streets of San Diego March 15, reports TMZ.
“We detained Jason Russell for indecent exposure at around 3 PM on March 15. One of our officers spoke with him,” Officer Frank Cali exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com.
TMZ reports, “Russell was dancing around the Intersection of Ingraham and Riviera wearing ‘speedo-like underwear’ … and eventually removed the underwear and began to make sexual gestures.”

“Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition,” he said. “He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday.”
“Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.”
