Koel moves over to the corner of the cart and slump his head down into his scarf, then looking to Melodia to answer.
Koel: I don't know why we are going there, I only tagged along to see what they are upto, and so far they haven't let much slip away....at least to me that is.
He then looks oddly to Melodia in regards to her second question
Koel: I know you dont get out much, but really? You've never seen a grassland? Well the Muram Grassland is just one of many, nothing really special about it. Its just a large field of grass that spans on for miles. Rather peaceful since monsters tend not to inhabit there.

A rather troubled expression filled Koel's face at Melodia words. He looked the looked down to the floor, not making eye contact as he spoke.
Koel: Such a restricted life.....but how does it feel to be out of your comfort zone?
Is this refreshing or.....distressing?

Askardi sat silently only saying something when he needed to. "She feels happy and sad. inwonderment and confusion. fear but brave. She must feel these things but can you blame her?

Koel: I guess not, but then again.....I was once in a situation like that. Though, my escape from it was not a voluntary one in the slightest.
Koel fell silent for a moment, continuing to stare at the wooden floorboards, deep in thought. Soon after he then picked up his head and turned to Melodia and patted her on her back.
Koel: It may not seem like it, but I was once similar to you once upon a time.....so you're not alone

Walters face turned blank at Askardi's words, falling silent for a few seconds but then turned to Askardi who was sitting beside him.

Walter: You mean.....the guy who you were fighting alongside earlier? That guy?

Koel then looked to Walter, then turned to Askardi as he was the one who brought it up. Looking to him with a stern and serious face.

Koel:You've seen that guy fight, we wouldn't last a second against him. That power he possesses is out of this world.....I'm just thankful he is not against us.....yet.

Walter then nodded halfheartedly and yawned. Stretching his arms into the air and then laying flat on the bench.
Walter: It's been a while since I slept, so much has happened. Sleepy time for Walty~
Koel: You haven't done anything since we met you....
Walter: I said sleepy time for Walty~
Walter then pulled his helmet from his head and over his eyes, which still seemed to cover most of his head and chin like a mask. Not long after snoring began to resonate from the helmet. Koel then looked up to the sky and noticed that it was getting dark, the sun decending in the distance as the carts began to enter the mountainous area.
Koel: I guess some sleep wouldn't be such a bad idea....
he then pulled his scarf further over his face and began to close his eyes.
Koel: Don't stay....stay up too late guys, long day ahead of us.

Askardi murmured to himself sleeply, "lets hope the light shines tonight..."

The world slowly go back, only to become alive in his dreams. This time, a year before the downfall... happy times.

To any observer Askardi forms a rarely seen smile.

Melodia sighed. "But I'm not tired..." she looked at Nom, who had settled iin and fell asleep in her lap. She grumbled and looked out of the cart, laying down. She didn't want to sleep just yet, but the girl supposed she had to. After a moment she was fast asleep.

While she slept, she inadvertently gravitated toward Koel and ended up clinging to him like a child who had never slept alone in her entire life.

Askardi woke up in midnight. seeing the sleeping group he went to the back of the cart and beckoned his horse over. She came quickly. Askardi rummaged through his many travel bags. He takes out three blankets, magnificent in design and warm. He came back to the sleeping group and placed the beautiful black raven blanket on nemmy, the valient condor blanket on Koel, the innocent dove on Melodia, and the eagle on walter.

Askardi then sat on his horse.
"sleep well...."
He then allows himself to fall behind.

He looks to the mountains uncertent before shaking his head.
"Ill watch tonight."

Meanwhile as the most of the group sleep under the starry sky, in the private cart the General could be seen laying bedroll on top of the bench, sleeping quite soundly. Whereas Darka was wide awake, sitting with his arms folded and looking out towards the mountains through a window that they were now officially passing through. His red eyes didn't falter for a second and he donned the same emotionless face as always, his silver hair draping down his face.

Darka: the winged being in the grasslands.....I do wonder if its--(cart shaking muffles out the sound)--hmmm, if thats so....then things might need to be pushed further ahead of schedule...

As the carts passed by the mountain down below, a young girl clad in black and purple clothing, the clothing was tight yet it sagged down at certain points. She wore a rather thin dark purple fabric over her mouth that matched in color to her gloves, lower legs and upper chest. Her hair was long at the sides, but at the back it was held in the air by the use of two sticks wedged into her hair, the hair was dark blue and matched her eyes which were firmly locked to the ground. She sat with her legs crossed and her each hand placed on her knees. Almost as if she had been in that position for a long time, unflinching and silent.

Though as she heard the trotting noises of a horses hooves on rocky ground her eyes suddenly shook to the side, where the sound was coming from. She moved out of her position and dashed to the edge of moutain, the speed of her doing so almost impossible to notice. She peered down at the man riding the horse, tailing the two carts.

Mysterious Ninja: Who dares disturb my meditation? she muttered quietly, slowly and lightly grasping one of the two small thin blades that she had attached to the back of her suit.

Mysterious Ninja: That foolish man will pay by blood.....

Askardi felt a stronge sense of nostalagia as he rode through the mountain.
