After about a day of traversing through the mountains, the group finally arrive at the Muram Grasslands. The grasslands was a long expanse of grass fields as far as the eye can see, since it was still early in the morning, in the sky above Luneta's moon could still be seen as clear as day, dominating the sky as it done ever since the dawn of Luneta. Very few clouds rested in the sky, those that did were thin strips that slowly dispersed and slit into other strips of cloud. As the carts finally exited the mountainous rocky area, their wheels began to roll along the soft ground.

Koel's eyes slowly opened, coming to a very surprising sight, Melodia cuddled into Koel as they both donned blankets, with different patterns covering the cloth. Koel face was in a mixture of distress and confusion.
Koel: This is by far....the weirdest morning ever....
Walter body seemed to have compensated itself for the rocking of the cart, however when the rocking stopped Walters body continued to move, rolling him off the bench and face planting him to the floor.
Walter: Owwwwww.....gosh darn it, I had just a....such a wonderful dream!
Koel: I don't want to hear it....
Walter: I was surrounded by food and women, women feeding me food, women covered in food.....oh god why, why did I have to wake up?
Koel seemed to completely ignore Walters antics and looked to the new scenery, a smirk crossed his face as he realized that they were now at the destination. However he stayed in his current position and hugged Melodia softly, making sure not to wake her.
Walter: Oh I see what you're doing, you sneaky devil you. I'm getting in on that~
Walter picked himself up and sat next to Nemmy, slowly putting his arm around her

Meanwhile in the private cart, the General began to wake to the sight of the new scenery. A sigh of relief passed his lips as he patted his bald head with a sheet of cloth.
TMU General: Oh finally......w--what?!
The General soon noticed that he was alone in the cart, Darka had completely gone missing. No trace of him was left behind. The General then began to shout.
TMU General: ALL CARTS, STOP!
Then all carts came to a slow stammering halt, the General jumped off the cart and began to franticly look around, pushing the soldiers who were following behind away, but soon later he had realized that Darka was nowhere to be found.
TMU General: Oh no.....where is he?

Askardi stops his horse behind the cart

The General begins to shout at his soldiers, with a mixture of anger and distress in his voice.
TMU General: Thats it, I've had it. We're at the grasslands now, go search the perimeter and look for the "winged being".
The soldiers all replied in unison
Soldier: Sir, yes sir!
The soldiers then quickly dispersed across the area, running into different directions of the grasslands. As the General leans against the cart and sighs deeply. He then sees Askardi a little behind the second cart, he slowly walks up to him and addresses with a stern voice.
TMU General: You there, have you seen Darka? He's the man who wears the black cloak, silver hair, red eyes?

"No... I've been watching the troop all night, and no one has entered or leaved the perimeter of our march scince Midnight tonight. I am sure of that...."

The General quickly turned around in frustration, looking at his soldiers scatter across the area. The wind blowing softly on his skin and brushing the grass gently.
TMU General: We can't afford things to go wrong at this point, we've gotten too far.

"General, I demand to know, what the hell are we doing here? Its obvious someone didn't want us to come...."

Askardi looks to the grasslands, flat for miles.

"You're 'winged beast' doesn't look like itd be hard to find here...."

The General turned back around to Askardi and looked distastefully at him.
TMU General: Nobody said it was a "beast", what we've heard in reports is that its humanoid. We're not going to get caught up in the assumption that its an angel. But we do know that its a humanoid with wings.
Our mission is as I have said many times, to find it. The last unit of troops that went to find it never came back, so we are here to finish the job and put a report on the desk of the busybodies in Tamathy. Got it?
The General then looked around briefly but then his vision came back to Askardi
TMU General: Its just that we really thought that with someone as powerful as Darka by our side, this mission would be a cinch. He even agreed to come along free of charge.

Walter was now cuddles into Nemmy, he then looked upto her with a silly grin.
Walter: You may act cold but you sure are warm, I could sit here all day, honey.
Koel let out a faint laugh but quickly suppressed it, simply returning his focus to Melodia

TMU General: I wish I knew, I didn't see him leave, nor did any of the soldiers or they would have objected to my outburst. I guess its possible that he....I don't know, maybe he went to find the winged being himself. But we can't complete the mission that way.

The General gives Askardi a cold look, clearly displeased.

TMU General: Don't insinuate such things!
Plus, as reliable as Darka is, I don't trust him. He's dangerous, he could be doing anything. I don't want to find that winged being either dead or missing.

"I agree that Darka is dangerous, and I also agree that I dont trust him, but good General, I dont trust you yet either. I trust the people Ive fought with, respect them, but you've yet to give me a reason to trust you. My harsh words and questions are to satisfy my suspicions..."

Askardi dismounts the horse and walks up close to the general

"If we are to have any chance at finding this thin, in a plain so large, dont you agree we should split up or stay as a party?"

TMU General: I don't care that you don't trust me, all I want is results. So you go out there with your little crew and you get to that thing before Darka does. Even if he IS not doing anything wrong, I'm not taking chances. Once you find it, you blow this horn.
The General then takes a yellow horn, that seems to be a hollowed our dragon horn, out of his satchel and hands it to Askardi.
TMU General: Once we hear that we will come running. Remember, don't do anything until we have reached you. Just keep whatever it is, contained.

Walter then picks himself off of Nemmy and smiles

Walter: How are you today on this wondrous morning?
It looks like we have arrived at the grasslands
He then puts his hand under his helmet and scratches his brown shaggy hair
Walter: I do hope that this is over soon, I'm out of here once it is.

Askardi walks back to the cart bringing his horse with him and addresses the group. We have an... assignment.

*Meanwhile, in the feild, a creature is in a deep sleep, cradling a meatwad like a treasure. The creature is unaware of all events going on 30 yards from him*

Koel looks to Askardi with slight concern, speaking somewhat quietly.
Koel: Hey, try to keep your voice down, she is still sleeping...
He keeps his right arm wrapped around her, almost being defensive like a big brother.
Koel: Anyway, lets hear it.....

Walter eagerly awaiting Askardi's news
Walter: C'mon, spit it out dude~

"Sorry guys... what'd you do with the blankets? Put them in them in the satchel on my horse please...."

Askardi feels somewhat akward.

"The general wants us to go out and look for a 'humaniod winged' creature. We are to locate it and detain it. We're not to attack it. However, this horn must be blown." He hoolds up the horn given to him by the General. "Thats what Ive been told."

Askardi kinda shuffles around.

"I feel odd...."

Melodia's eyes slowly opened. When she finally realized where she was, she hopped up as quickly as possible with a red face. "Oh, um..." She muttered, not sure how to explain. She looked around and noticed Nom laying there, appearing to be laughing so hard that he was in tears. "Hey, stop that!" she cried. "It's not funny!" The girl picked the little dragon up and put him on her shoulder. "Okay, so what's going on now? Why have we stopped?" She looked at the locale surrounding the cart. "Oh wow..."

".... We have been given an assignment by the General to search for a humanoid winged creature. We are not to harm it but to detain it until the rest of the group comes. We can do no physical harm to it.... oh, Darka's missing...."

"An angel?" Melodia asked. "Those are fairy tales, and if they existed then someone would've seen something by now." She hopped out of the cart, leaving the blanket behind. "So all we have to do go for a walk, huh? Doesn't seem like there's any place to hide here." The girl grinned. She looked excited to be able to explore a new place. It almost appeared that she wasn't even scared of Darka being missing or the possible danger the winged humanoid could pose. After a moment, she disappeared to the front of the cart to pet the horses.

A man rode up to the cart on his horse and sighed. He dismounted and went to the nearest person. "Excuse me," he muttered. "Have you seen a strange female? I was ordered to take her in for questioning and was told a cart such as this spirited her away."
