Member Spotlight #26: Rora
« on: April 29, 2014, 07:23:31 PM »
She is one of our newest members. She is extremely active and she is just amazing. She asked me to have a spot here but I totally forgot about is :c I'm a bad Neko.

Anyways, now that I found the time, here it is. Her very own MS.

This is a game where we choose a member to spotlight which could then be asked any question by any member!

Here are the rules:

1. If the member chosen doesn't want to answer a question he/she can freely ignore it

2. If you want to put all the questions you have in one post don't write walls of text (but lets face it, you're gonna do that anyway)

3. Members may not request for more time on the MS, you are allotted a single week (7 days exactly, hours may not be exact in certain situations) and no more, no less. If you feel as though you may not be able to fulfill this commitment then please refuse the MS (if it is offered to you) so that another member with sufficient time can fulfill the obligation. (This is non-applicable to MSR)

4. In a dire event such as the death of a relative or a sudden holiday (announced by your parents or something) comes around, then you may postpone the MS to a later date. However the next MS will continue upon your departure, upon your return the current MS will close. You will use up your remaining allotted time, then close and the other MS will then continue for its allotted time. This is only in serious cases, excuses such as exams are not valid. This is to keep consistency within the MS system. (This is non-applicable to MSR)

5. Follow the Arpegi rules please.

6. When the MS holder answers a question put forth by a member, the member, nor anyone else should reply to that answer with a casual remark (non-question), replying to an answer may only be allowed if the reply contains another question for the MS holder to answer. However quote nesting is also prohibited.

7. Pointless questions such as "see you tomorrow?" or "how are you?" are prohibited. Such casual questions can be posed in the Spam thread thread.

8. Violations of rules 6 and 7 will result in a deletion of said posts. If the behavior persists from said individual, then a warning may be issued.

9. Do not ask the same question that a previous member has asked, if it asked in a different way then it may be acceptable so long as it doesn't provoke the same answer as the previous version.

The usual questions we all had to answer in our own MS at one point.

What do you think of Arpegi?
What's your favorite feature?
What would you like to change if you could?

I don't like beards/facial hair.
Rules are important and are generally a good thing, as long as they're reasonable.

Shooter, easily.

AAA GET OUT OF MY WINDOW (joke's on you, I keep my blinds shut to keep out the sun)
Hehe but really, I think you're pretty coolio, as a fellow ~art~ person and all.

I'd probably have to say digital for my favorite medium, both to use and view. Not that I really have any experience using anything else...
I actually don't like condiments on sandwiches, and I'm not much of a fan of sandwiches in general either. I'm so picky it's ridiculous.

Favorite Tales game for PS3? (If you have any?) I need something new to get into before Persona 5.
Keeping on that, what do you think of the Shin Megami Tensei series, if you've ever played any?

Hmm, I'd have to say Tales of Graces f.
I like it! So far I've only played Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 (and Persona 4 Arena I suppose, but that's a bit different), but I have a few other SMT games in my backlog that I'm looking forward to playing.

Hmm, that's a really hard question... I guess Kura for one, since I've known him longer than I've known anyone else here, and we played P4A online once. I don't think I really know anyone else here well enough to say.
Front side, hells yeah. Backsides aren't bad or anything, though~
I think you're a strong person, and I wish I could be strong on the inside too.

I have no idea... that depends entirely on what you even mean by that...

Well, I took two years of Spanish class in High School, but I don't remember much of it.
I also REALLY want to learn Japanese, but I'm not currently studying it.
So nope, I only know English.

Favourite game console?

Favourite food?

You got to a local videogame store to get rid of an old console plus some games in order to get some money towards a new game. While you're at the counter, you spot a nine year old kid browsing a small box filled with GBA cartridges with his mother standing behind him. The boy brings up a few cartridges to his mother. The woman looks at the sign above the box that says "$15/game" and reluctantly tells her son that she cannot afford that and tells him that he can only have one. You can tell they're from a struggling family. You know you can make a happy impact on his life by giving the console and games you brought to trade in, to him instead. Would you do it? Or would you just move on and instead choose to sell the console and games to fund that next game you really want?

Are you afraid of the ocean?

PS3, or possibly the PS2. Sony's got the JRPGs, hell yeah.

Pancakes. *drools*

If I was getting rid of the console anyway, I'd give it to the kid along with the games. Some of my favorite memories are of playing Super Mario World with my dad when I was like, 7 or 8. ;ω; I can always wait to get a new game; hell, I almost never get a game I want at release unless I REALLY want it (or it's a Tales game tales tales tales).

No, I'm not afraid of the ocean. I've never actually even seen one in person. I live near the biggest of the Great Lakes, though.

Ok, here comes Muddy's Batch of Questions.

What is 2 + 2?
Maths or math?
Goddammit, why are there ants everywhere?
So like, is Tales of Symphonia one of the better Tales games? I played through it and found it a really really solid game but I felt it was lacking something.
What is your favorite:
a) color?
b) number?
c) website?
d) Uh...Thing?

Ok and now, time for the inevitable:
Views on fishsticks?

4 because I have no witty remark available and I'm a teacher's pet
Math
Because they secretly rule the world from below... also you keep leaving food out, probably

Tales of Symphonia is a really good Tales game, but it's also one of the older ones now. The series has progressed a lot since, especially where game mechanics/gameplay are involved. I find that Tales games tend to have really good characters, although that can be subjective. Plots are TOO subjective for me to comment on without specifics, but I tend to enjoy them as well. (Side note: the PS3 version of Symphonia that was just released is an HD re-release of the original GameCube game* and the sequel that was released on the Wii)
*technically, it's actually a re-release of the PS2 version of the game, which ITSELF was an updated re-release of the GC version with extra content that was never released outside of Japan

a) Purple
b) I don't really have a favorite number, but I like multiples of 5 and 10 the best
c) Probably Arpegi, because I actually have friends here and I love friends
d) JRPGs or maybe boys

I AM NOT A GAY FISH
