I dunno why, but I can't stand tattoos, there is just something about them that churns my stomach.
I guess if I was dating a girl with one, I wouldn't mind if it was small and not -that- noticeable, but if it was a full arm of them.....urrkk.

Why don't you like them?

I love tattoos.. I think your body is a canvas and tattoos are just paintings on the canvas.

Ive got 5 and I want a full arm sleeve but I cant justify spending over a grand on a tattoo. My mrs has one on the bottom of her back and I dont mind that but I wont let her get anymore, women with tattoos on their arms make me bork. Who would want to see that in their wedding photos?

I. Hate. Tattoos.

They are ugly, expensive, and unprofessional (IMO)

No thanks, I'd rather not. I wouldn't have any in sight either, like on my hands, I don't feel like I have to show mine off to the world. Plus you can't get many jobs if you have visible tattoos.

If you get tattoos to look cool or for a fashion statement or something, you're just looking for attention and that's wrong in my book. Get something that means something to you, I have my daughters name.

I agree with your statement about not getting tattoos as a fashion statement because that is indeed attention whoring. A tattoo has to have a specific meaning.

I wouldn't say they looked unprofessional, unless they were done in a caravan like my first 2 lol. Some can look amazing.

I don't really like modifications to the body (even earrings) especially piercings but tattoo is okay as long as its quite small

I would personally not take anybody with a tattoo seriously in an interview, or as a boss.

What does having a tattoo got to do with being professional?

It shows that you are a joker and you fool around. Everybody I know who has a tattoo is one of those people who nobody can take seriously, no matter what they do

That's the problem with alot of people they show more interest about the looks then the skills of people.

You see, that's why you don't have them on show ;)

I'm deadly serious at work and I have tattoos, I'm like a slave driver at times. I do fuck around a lot outside of work though, I'll admit that.

So getting a tattoo shows you fool around? I can give you a lot of examples of people with tattoos that are taken more serious than 'the average person'. No offense, but what you're pointing out is that people judge other people by how they look, not by who they are.

That's the problem with alot of people they show more interest about the looks then the skills of people.
That's exactly what I think.

I'm saying from personal experience how everyone I knew with tattoos were not serious workers. But then again, this is America. Different cultures, diilfferent opinios

Yeah, it's probably different for Europe.. I know more 'normal' people that aren't serious workers than people with tattoos.

Would you like them because you are Dart Maul?

Seriously though. I'm hoping to get the Olympic Ring tattoo.

Darth Maul is indeed said to be covered with tattoos (hence the red/black skin)

I'm getting a few tattoos to remember my childhood (pokemon, fersure) and something with the sentence "the only thing left to lose is time".
