not sure what to make of thissource is funny though "4chan is not well known"
I don't know at what age do you consider people an elderlybut from datas you can definitely see elder people are not the majority
It really depends on how you view "elderly", but since there are more people living longer due to medical advances, you could argue that they are indeed the majority. It really depends on viewpoint though.
4chan wouldn't be exactly recognized by the less-familiar-of-the-internet people, which is by the way, the majority.

Sociology dictates that there is no set age for any of the life phases and that they are subject to change depending on the environment, culture and viewpoint of the individual. So what you are observing is simply a popular viewpoint.

If sociology dictates that there is no set age for a life phase, that its subject to change depending on variables that effect the individual. Then how does one form of collecting data produce results that are universal? It's simply one of the many ways you can view age groups, there are various factions such as New Right, Maxist, Post Modernism ect who all have differing opinions, and countless more individuals whole also do. You cannot look upon it at a biological view either since the term "elderly" is a concept that has been created by society, which in turn changes. What I am trying to convey here, is that there is no single way to determine what is "elderly". It changes, there is no way around that, what you believe to be elderly won't be the same as the next person. There is no single answer.
huh?I always thought old is elderlyam I living a lie?bu...but society agreed that 60+ is elderlywait I get it, it changes yesbut most of the world view 60+ is elderly
This is a dead-ended debate, lets just agree to disagree.

So I'm not so sure about that.
hmmmalright how about thisthere have to be a certain lower limitI'd love to see a society which views 30 years old as elderly and have them retire
