Has anyone heard of this?

Basically, when the N64 Disk Drive was in development/released, there was talk of a new Ocarina of Time expansion called Ura. In this expansion, there would have been a lot of supposed features, such as new dungeons, new NPCs, possibly new locales, some new side-quests...the works, basically. Exactly what one of today's expansion packs for today's games are. However, the Disk Drive failed to catch on...which caused the Disk Drive to be dropped and all the games being made for it were cancelled. This includes the Ura project. Debatably, Master Quest is supposedly the entire Ura project, but considering all there is are rearranged dungeons, it doesn't seem so. (I don't want to start an argument about this, guys, so don't bring it up)

The Ura restoration project is an Ocarina of Time ROM hack that is going to give us what Nintendo didn't: the entirety of the Ura project. Every scrap we know of about Ura will be in the hack, and more. ZethN64 is doing the hack and NitroFlasher is doing every new song that will appear in the game.

Oh, I've heard of this! Didn't know that it was actually this far in development. The music sound awesome.
And there's also another team trying to restore Super Mario 64 back to its beta stages too.

Ah so it's not actually the exact 64DD expansion, but what the zelda fan community EXPECT it to be.
Hmm... could be interesting... I know the Zelda fandom is massive and I'm sure that there will be someone who can make a good Zelda storyline out there.

Also, the the new protagonist appears to be a different person than the Link in the original Ocarina of Time.
I'm a little apprehensive about this... I mean... the story is set three years after Zelda sent Link back to his own time (After he beat Ganon in OoT), so I was expecting that it would be a continuation of his adventure but that doesn't appear to be the case...

No, it's the same Link. It's a continuation, just as Ura was intended to be.
