Ok. I have a serius problem I think. About 9 days ago I started having sleepless nights. People of fb will know because I complaine about it. Anyways, Its 3am and ive yet to sleep. My day starts in an hour. This has been the case for 9 days now and its really screwing up my thinking and doing of things. Like, I want to sleep but cant. Any ideas why? Or even how to KO myself?

Well... First of all... What do you exactly do when you try and go to sleep?
-
Clearly you are stressed about something, find the stressor, resolve it. Instant sleep~
Or you could try chemical methods, sleeping pills or rehypnol.
-
Before I go to bed I shower, brush my teeth, talk to someone for a littkle while. Then curl up and sleep.
Am I stressed? I dunno.

You should have a certain routine. And that talking isn't a good idea. You need to have something to give your brain a rest. Not getting it working again by talking.
-
It would be the most logical reason for you not being able to sleep yet wanting to. Your brain is telling you to resolve an issue that uptil now has remained unresolved, therefore it is working overtime to compensate. You need to find the issue that you are subconciously trying to resolve (or maybe just cease to care) if you wish to sleep. That, or drug yourself into sleep.
This is what I learned in psychology at least.

Maybe you're just not tired, do you sit at a desk all day or are you very active? If you're active then it's probably a problem in your head such as stress or something.

Warm milk and honey.

Work out. Like, do some push-ups until you're tired as fuck. It's bound to work.

I used to have the same problem myself. I got used to it, however and I can stay fresh for about 28 hours.
Heres a little tip; Close your eyes tightly, you should feel your cheek muscles involved. After a while your head feels a bit shaky or woozy(especially around the temples), this usually causes you to go to sleep.(works for me all the time.)

Or you take some sleeping pills...

Effective but risky, I hear you can get addicted. Consult a psychiatrist.

And as far as I know you must consult once to get a prescription... No?

I forget that we are from different countries ;D
Here, an extra tip of 10 rupees will 'bypass' any consultation checks ;)

I get sleepy of watching anime. I get frustrated because I want to watch the episode, yet I'm too sleepy to get frustrated, so I just fall down asleep with my face in my pillow drooling like fuck. I usually have trouble falling asleep too. The smallest noise or a degree too hot can keep me awake for another 10 minutes.
