I recently finished American Gods and I pretty much ran out of stuff to read. I checked out some stuff in the bookstore, but most of it seemed like about love and stuff. I don't like romance. Maybe a bit of sprinkle of romance, but not to the point where the characters are obsessed with each other. (You know what I'm talking about.) I like novels where there's a connection to mythology and it's incorporated to a modern theme. Maybe Percy Jackson or American Gods, as mentioned above. And maybe fantasy.
So... uh... yeah.

Maybe other books of the same author?
-
That's an option. But I tried to search in our local bookstore. All they had was American Gods. :|
I could try ebooks, though.

Yeah. What I sometimes go is look to the sections "People also bought" at Amazon and sites like that.

Problem is, sometimes the books are completely unrelated by genre. :|

So books like the Davinci Code?

Possibly. Have you read it, though? I'm asking based on the replier's suggestion.

To be totally honest... I don't read books but I am trying to help out on what I know and the power of Google :3

I'd say Harry Potter series if you haven't seen the movies, but yeah.. who hasn't seen the movies?

Exactly. :P
I have the full series, but I haven't cracked them open even once. You know why. :P
But I'll be sure take a look.

Maybe you should check books of writers you like.

Same / Similar advice =P?
But some writers don't always write in the same genre so don't get your hopes to high up there.

Good writers write good books, that's more important than genre.

Read books by Michael Chrichton, Stephen King, Raymound Koury, and others...
-
Maybe if you are into it, (and maybe you need to learn to "read" hi writing style) H.P Lovecraft got some Exeedingly Nice Stories

Noted.

I don't quite understand what you mean exactly.
