Let people know your opinion on the anime series you've watched or currently watching and why or why not people should check it out.
You will respect different tastes in genre so don't start packing for an all-out flamewar.

I recently re-watched Neon Genesis Evangelion (for the 16th time) and even after the mass amounts of times I've watched it, it never ceases to amaze me. It truly is a masterpiece of an anime, its take on the human psyche and the trials of daily life for someone with low-self esteem. That coupled with mecha fights and a very elaborate plot-line just makes it even more great to watch. It's also littered with biblical references and symbolic references that require deep analysis to uncover (which makes re-watching it pretty interesting). All in all its a unbelievable anime and I would greatly recommend it to everyone~

I prefer code geass alot above other anime tbh.
not that i hate others not at all.
But code geass just gives me that extra feeling that other anime's don't so. (:

My favourite would be Keroro Gunso (AKA Sgt.Keroro/ Sgt.Frog).
I used to watch Bleach, but soon after the 2nd season it felt like they were out of ideas.. :/

One of my favorite anime series would have to be Needless. It's full of hot-blooded action and the characters are pretty memorable, imo. Also, moderate amounts of fanservice.
Too bad it didn't quite follow the manga's plotline, ending only halfway.

And I don't like action anime much. Its almost always about a hot-headed, chaotic-good guy who eventually saves the world from evil.
Can somebody suggest me an action anime NOT about such a stereotypical hero?

Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin), GetBackers and Trigun are the only ones that come to mind.
Oh, and Sacred Seven, I think.

Well the anime I mentioned in my previous post is quite fitting to your description, the "hero" of the story has been subject to a lot of criticism of being called the "emo kid" or "whimp" or various other names for his unheroic nature. The series has nothing stereotypical about it, it tends to go pretty much against what you expect :p

That feeling where every single episode is on climax. No beginning, no end. Simply just the exciting part. Hell, the whole series is a frickin climax. Which, ironically, made me sad on the ending. You'll never know what happens to the characters afterwards.

I just wanted to talk about Blood+, an anime that I watched years ago and the first anime series I've watched from start to finish.
I was thinking about watching it again since I don't have a very good memory of it because I was 12 :T
I always thought Saya was so badass with her sword and that blood thing she does because like, who doesn't want their own blood flowing through their sword?
And who doesn't want their blood to make chiroteranaens crystalize?
Oh and I liked the hinted romance between Saya and her chevalierer too.
Yeah I don't remember much.
Gonna DL it next week or som'in.

I am watching Fairy Tail and so far it really is badass. every fiend thinks the main mage is really weak and stuff. But in the end they all get destroyed quite easy.

It's about Edo era Japan, where a woman's ability and/or status is determined by the size of her boobies and err... there are ninjas...and samurais....with huge knockers. Did I mention boobs?
It's basically a show revolved around fanservice.

I also dislike a third of the crew (Usopp,Nami,Chopper). But well. It's worth it for me.

I really need to get back into amine. I loved the series I watched like Death Note and various others but I can't seem to finish an episode, even of my favorite series. I hope that'll change this summer.

Watch anime with short episodes like Yondemasuyo Azazel-san and Chibi Devi.

Watched an episode of Gurren Lagann, I dunno, so far I haven't seen anything particularly special. I thought I'd go into it watching it only for the girl with the red bikini and the huge sniper rifle, and I was right....thats the only reason I keep watching it :/
also the appearance of the robot was super anti-climactic, the size of it man.
