A complete misfit in the crime world of the fictional city of Roanapur, where the worst of the worst come to gather: Hookers, assassins, bounty hunters, thieves, serial killers, crime bosses and any dangerous and/or illegal occupations. Rock isn't any of these. In fact, he wasn't dangerous at all. He was a simple business man... until he was kidnapped by the Lagoon Company. After being abandoned by his own company, he decided to join the delivery business of Black Lagoon (which may or may not come across the law at times). Contrary to most of the people around him, he's polite, calm, intelligent and prefers negotiations before violence. Not so badass, right? Right. But at some point, he was able to manipulate everyone (I haven't read this part yet, but I'm getting there.) according to his plan. No one knew they were being manipulated until it was too late. This instantly made him one of the most dangerous people in Roanapur, if not THE most dangerous. His colleagues can vouch for that.

Oh god, if I were to list all my favorite characters from everything I watched, I'd be here for days *_*
I guess Misaka Mikoto (Railgun) is one of my favorites though.. also Shino Asada (SAO) ..and my new favorite, Hikari Kimishima (aka Yuuko Ooshima the 9th, from AKB0048)

They should make more anime of it, even though it probably won't be as good as the previous seasons, I'd still watch it.

Usually, my love for anime characters are based on one of their over-the-top skills or traits. Whether that be an unmatched talent for strategical thinking or superhuman strength or magical prowess, I loved the fact that they overcome their hardships no matter how much it pushes them down. I want to BE like them. That's not the case with the guy above.

What I like most about this character is he's absolutely, undoubtedly flawed. He's a wreck and he knows it. He's delusional. He's depressed. He dropped out of school without any kind of ambition afterwards and so he's failing life as a jobless, dumb piece of crap who doesn't know where to go. Why is that so likable, then? He feels real.
