Title: Darts

Anybody play? I played properly for the first time last night,  my mate gave me a bit of advice and within an hour I had gone from just hitting the board to hitting pretty much where I aimed and keeping all 3 darts grouped together. I really enjoyed it so I went and bought a dartboard today and I think I could get pretty good within a couple of weeks or so.

I have a dartboard & darts, but I don't like it enough to sacrifice a wall for it :/

I have horrible aim. My hand-eye coordination is poor even though I'm a wiz at shooters. I always manage to get one bulls-eye and the rest just stick wherever.

I've started playing round the board doubles to get a bit of practice on finishes, start at double 1, then once you hit it go for double 2 and so on. Took me a good 30 minutes this time but I'll get better.

I just hit a 140, not long before I start getting 180's I hope.

Nice, that's more than I ever got.. from an acceptable range.

I only practice about an hour a day, it's something you pick up really quickly. I'm determined to get a 180 before next weekend.

Knowing the weight and impact of a dart, the tail of the other dart isn't very likely to survive that. You're right, Robin Hood can't top that.
