After speaking to myself a lot in the football thread I thought I'd try again with you sport haters :P
Motogp starts in 30 minutes, I love motorcycling racing and never miss it. Hope Crutchlow can get a podium. I'm not keen on formula 1 anymore, the racing is boring and predictable.
-
I don't like motor racing. I find no enjoyment in cars I can't control
-
Well Since I'm addicted to cars... I try to watch every rally race, f2, f1 and so on and so on.
I only look at motorcycling because I wanna see people fall actually. >:D
-
I don't mind watching it if I encounter a channel showing motorsports while I'm channel surfing.
I hate street racing though.
-
oooooh street racing :) love it
-
I don't like it but I won't bash the sport. Since I believe it's one.
-
I acknowledge it as a legit sport, and I respect its fans. I just personally find no enjoyment in it
-
although it isn't a sport. Street racing are just 2 tuners that race against each other. With a lot of money at stake...
if it was a sport then the cops wouldn't try to catch them

It usually not like in the movies you know.
Racing through traffic takes a lot more skill than you need on a perfect race track.

And it's a lot more dangerous too.

nah man. not yet at least. No I'm talking about 2 tuners racing at high speed and the cops following. One of the tuners used NOS

It's time for the british round of motogp! I hope Crutchlow gets his first win, if not I want Marquez to win. He's the most exciting rider to watch at the minute, he gets sideways at every opportunity.

So, what are the different styles in the motor sport?

So, what are the different styles in the motor sport?
Too many to list individually, everything from speedway bikes to formula one cars.
My favourites are definitely MotoGP and World Superbikes, the racing is always exciting.
Formula one isn't actual racing anymore, it's tyre management, nobody ever drives at the limit. It's so boring and predictable I don't waste my time.
Rallying is quite a good spectator sport, I watch it when I can but it's usually on late at night.

I like extreme offroading because fuck the environment.

Doriano Romboni has been killed taking part in a motorcycle race to remember Marco Simoncelli who died not so long back in a race. It's sad that it happened at a memorial event, unfortunately there's nothing that can be done in the event of being hit by another rider. I don't want the excitement of motorcycle racing lost through too many safety changes.
