God is like a teacher. He is giving us a test. Does a teacher talk when you have a test?

God knows who had the oppurtunity to learn or not. He's not going to throw a poor child in hell just because he couldn't learn. People who die Mental retards or children/ infants are granted heaven regardless. And those who did not have the capability to learn or the oppurtunity will not be held against themWhat god will hold you against is whether you accept to learn or refuse. Those who try to learn but die doing so die in the way of god. They are considered believers.Unlike those who have every opportunity on earth to learn but refuse to (ehrmm)
There is no "discrimination" involved AT ALLIf you pray just to get your mom off your ass, do you think god will accept it? As supposed to one who prays purely because he loves god?
Let me ask you: When you were a kid did your parents give you everything you want?Does that make them love you any less than a parent who spoils their child?
This is exactly why I hate debates like this. It makes me want to hit the person insulting or condemning what I choose to believe in. Is there even a reason to have a debate like this? Hell, is this even considered a debate?
I don't feel any hate towards msg. It's actually pretty fun and it's making me feel religious lol

i don't think his intent was to insult my religion, i think he was just putting out his belief.
My views about Religion. Warning, don't read this if you are easily offended or something, it is highly criticizing and it's just me stating what I think, I am not trying to offend anyone

(click to show/hide)-The Bible is too wrong in too many ways, and extremely controversial. It probably got manipulated in the times before books became common, if it really was written by the prophets of God. (click to show/hide)Yes, this was explained to us in class. They taught us not to read the Bible as a history book, but something else. You take a guess what it is. I can't quite put it in words.-I believe Religion is based solely on faith. If you do not have faith, there is no way you can have a religion, no matter how much you try. In my personal opinion, it's more about blindly following; If you question it too much, chances are your faith will disappear. (click to show/hide)You can compare it to, for example, you questioning the motives of your employer. The more you question his motives, the more you lose your trust in him. The more you question your family, the more you mistrust them. It's a natural reaction.-Religion is something very convenient for the government, teaching people to become contempt with few, as they will receive their reward in Heaven. (click to show/hide)Separation of the Church and the State. The government can't take advantage of this because the government cannot force religion into other people nor can religion be implemented in national causes. They could have. Maybe if it was a a century or two ago. They can't now.-The ideals in the Bible, are, mostly, good. Of course, I support being good for other people, donating to charity, not murdering/stealing/raping etc. However, I believe that, to have true value, those should be done because people WANT to do it, because people do it, and not because people are afraid of the divine wrath. (click to show/hide)"Divine Wrath". Yes, this is another misconception about Christianity and Catholicism. Christians and Catholics aren't afraid of divine wrath. Rather, they are afraid of their relationship with their God being deteriorated. AKA, Loss of faith.-Althrough many religions do not, I support Death Penalty. Not sure if relevant, but whatever. (click to show/hide)... Not exactly relevant.-Most of the people who believe in God don't really follow his ideals. Most people are hypocrites, whether or not they will admit it. Christian, Hebrew, Atheist, Hindu or whatever, nobody is perfect. People WILL do wrong stuff. (click to show/hide)I actually agree here. But what of the others who decide to devote themselves to religion?-If God is all-knowing and all-seeing, what's the point of praying at all? In fact, what would be the point of life? It couldn't be a trial, He'd already know the result. (click to show/hide)The point of religion is having faith. You trust your life in God, but at the same time make an effort to life. "Help me help you", like they say. You trust your worries that you can't do anything about to God, but you make an effort to those the worries that you can change.
welcome, i need a believer to back me up =P
