As a few of you mave have noticed by now, one or two themes have a customized cursor in use.
Now I was wondering is this a good idea? Should we do this? Offcourse, if the majority of you guys wants this, we will pick a cursor TOGETHER.
I hereby open this debate, with a poll!

If I find a plugin to enable / disable it ... I would give this a green light... Otherwise... I am not really fond of this idea.

I Go With Jonez, its nice feature and all but the Users should be able to Chose if they want to Use it or not so that said I say "Nay"

I did... BUT... We have the wrong forum version and I have a bad experience with emulating to older versions... Remember when the site went down for a day... ... Yeah...

I'll just put a tutorial online for the people who use google chrome so they can put in custom cursor script for any site they want it for..

So ... Not everybody uses Chrome and I am not fond of forcing people to switch to Chrome for this feature.

Like I said, for the people that use chrome. I don't know how to create that stuff in firefox.. if anyone else knows he can always add it to the tut....

When I first saw the cursor my immediate thought was "I hope there is an option to disable", which is exactly whats needed. So unless it has that I am not in approval. It should be like the themes, optional.

To set different cursor images is a feature of CSS2 and should work with every common browser since 10 years....
Usually it should be quite simple to do in CSS. Yet a enable/disable feature would have to be implemented into the php file and prolly the database too.

update to IE 6 or higher and it can
(actually IE 4 can handle most of it already)

First of all you need the Stylish extensions, you can get it here --> https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe
After you installed it, open the extension menu and go into the Stylish app.
When you're in Stylish menu, click on the button that says "Write new style"
In the code box you paste this:
body, a:hover {cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/games/gam-13/gam1235.cur), progress !important;}If you want a different cursor, you can pick one @ http://www.cursors-4u.com/ ;)
And for the applies to thing, make sure you got the settings like this:

....I still think that this is a better idea than having a preset forum one. Its better to just let everyone have their own thing :p
