Title: Extracting ISO files
Post by: BloodcatNS on May 09, 2012, 04:57:04 AM
I'm having a bit of an issue here...  I need to extract files from an ISO without the need of a CD burner. I'm not gonna use the files in the computer, though. I'm gonna use it someplace else.

Thanks. It worked. Unfortunately, I encountered a completely different problem. In copying the files whilst the ISO is mounted, there was a pop-up, along with the copy operation broken off. The pop-up was read along the lines of "Invalid MS-DOS function". I couldn't copy the files to the computer because of it.

Extracting the files using winrar should work. If not, try a different mounting program.

PowerISO is a good, free, alternative for Daemon Tools :)

About the Capcom thing... I can explain. :|

And no, extracting did not work. But I'm gonna try a different mounting program.

Well, MAGICISO worked. Thanks.

The free version of Daemon Tools doesn't work on some computers.

Since this topic is about ISO's, what's the best way to create an ISO from a DVD? I tried with PowerISO but it kept giving errors :')

I haven't tried it yet but... Copy the files and compress with winRAR as ISO? I'm just guessing.
