I used to line the edges of my bayblade with sallotape so that it caused more friction when coming into contact with the enemy bayblade. Quite effective

Thats the reason I searched all over a market for hms beys instead of buying a metal fusion version.But I think I should buy a Metal Fusion version soon my cousin has one already

I used to have a remote controlled beyblade when I was 7... it was all plastic and no metal. Pretty weak, but I was enjoying toying with my friends via "dodging" before it gets hit. Ah, the looks of their faces. Good times.
It was like this. Though I think mine had a tiger image in the middle. Can't remember the name.



That trigger can make the beyblade go left or right. No other directions.

Strange, most had blunt edges, even the ones that didnt couldnt go fast enough to produce even a papercut (for obvious safety reasons). So you must have been playing with some unique bayblades indeed

Nah, most beyblades in the Philippines back then were just cheap knockoffs imported from China. They used cheap plastic that still had that little sharp thing at the edges from the molding.
