Am I the only one who thinks this is all bullshit crap?
I actually thought it was real for a moment. But then two major flaws in the whole campaign...1) They have pics and vids of this guy IN his crime scenes. Now I'm not a reporter, but I'm pretty sure reporter 101 says ALWAYS carry a gun with you when in situations like this... Why didn't they just shoot his ass there?2) They didn't ask us to advertise him. They asked us to BUY advertisements from them to "stop" him. Now where have I heard that before...?
Ehm..Who is this Kony guy, anyway? what does he do? i heard he tortures children or something..
be kidnaps children, makes them murder their parents, then uses them for a child army
This is why I'm tempted to post an image of that guy from Predator and praise him for his work (without giving his name), letting people comment about how horrible I am for supporting Kony, then reveal that it's not Kony.
He's on the US most wanted list
It's a scam......He's on the US most wanted list, no money is needed.
One of those points is somewhat correct whereas the other is slightly misguided.Only 31% of the money actually goes to help Uganda in various ways (build schools, build watchtowers ect.) and the rest goes to fatten the pockets of the "Invisible Children" founders. However the goal of invisible children was to raise awareness, this mission has actually already been accomplished and the government are indeed acting to stop Kony, but the continued influx of money simply goes to the wallets of IC founders. However on the point of him being on the most wanted list (at the top) means nothing, they wouldn't have bothered to find him with all the other things going on in the world, economic crisis and whatnot. So IC has done some good, its made Kony a priority....however they continue to net in money which seemingly goes no-where.
Actually the US went looking for him about 6 years ago and he has been in hiding since, no awareness of Kony himself was needed. He hasn't been a threat for a long time either, the whole thing is misleading.
