Title: Confession Too Big for the Confession Topic
Post by: Swagmaster on July 01, 2013, 02:43:11 AM: Ok, first I would like everyone to know that I am not at all ashamed of my confession, just ashamed at the things I have done to make me hide this confession. I was afraid of the original criticism I would receive for saying this, so I covered it by saying bad things I do. I was planning to confess, but it just got to the point where revealing probably would have gotten criticism not just for revealing it, but for the things I have done as well.

You guys seem right. I hope nobody will feel weird about this. Before I reveal, I want to get everyone's confirmation and promise not criticize. Some people might have figured it out or somehow knew, but they will soon have it confirmed. It may also make some people uncomfortable, which is why I want to make sure everyone is okay with it.

Note: I am not gay.

I've seen a heard a lot of secrets from friends and strangers over the years. I also have done things that have essentially forfeited my right to judge anybody about their own secrets.

I love my religion, but it comes with its bad perks, such as all the false conspiracies that arise.

your religion is unimportant, it wouldn't change my/our perspective on you. Heck, even if you were into that Scientology crap it'd still be fine, a belief is a belief, it doesn't necessarily define you in a significant way. Your actions do.

you sure you haven't got anything else to confess, like you dressing up in your mother's clothing or something?

Omar is a very common name here, Muslim or not. And yes, that is (sorta) how you use that

well, If you've received the insults I have for this, you would see it as a big deal

not everyone is a cunt, I find it hard to paint anyone on this forum as the discriminating type. There's no need to expect that kind of stuff here at least.

I am muslim too ...family wise
Not fond of religion much but hey I got nothin' against others if they like it.

Really, religion is the last thing that forms my opinion of a person , if at all.
None of us here judges a person based on their religion. Unless of course they use their religion as a basis to infringe upon the rights and dignity of another person. But I know you aren't the type to do that, you're an awesome guy and nothing will change that.

And of course, if the environment and neighborhood around you is crap, you could always move out!

I had a Muslim schoolmate in a Catholic school. No one gave a fuck until he outright refused to step in our church. Out of respect. It was actually a learning experience for the whole school. :P

It's no surprise they're looked down upon here. They abuse the flaws in our system, cost us a lot of tax money and spread the word to their motherland to have their family and friends come over as well. Of course, not all of them are bad and I'm sure it has little to do with their religion and mostly with their parents.
