Title: Writing.
Post by: NekoJonez on March 12, 2012, 11:47:10 PM
Well, I had a blog.. I still have but I am letting it die because I want to integrate it into Arpegi.
Anyways...

I can't draw but I am writing stories since I was 6-7 years old. So, for more then 13 years now... I wrote stories... and I love to RP.

So, how do you guys like to write stories, poems and other things like that?

I can't write very well, I can't put exactly what I mean into words, it never comes out right.

This is a story I made for an assignment for school. It's mostly just dialogue, but hey I got a B+ for it. Sorry for the bad formatting, by the way.

I would have given it an A for originality. Liked it.

'Write' is the proper spelling.

I can conjure up quite good story plots (though I won't bother posting any) and elaborate on them very well in normal conversation. But when it comes to writing them down in full text, I tend to drivel on and not know how to properly structure them. Since I have the full story in my head I tend to misplace things and make it sound awful. I remember I successfully wrote down a short version of my RP CM for a GCSE English coursework extension and got an A, but that was due to some online friends helping sort out my muddled way of thinking :p

I won 2 contests once with essays... I even appeared in a Dutch newspaper with them.

I wrote a review once on a travel site and they published it, god knows why. Probably because I was the only person complaining of lack of disabled facilities.

I'm currently learning by writing small paragraphs, then thinking it through. Writing another one and then proceeding to link them together and tie up the loose ends. It actually does work, it takes longer than the natural way though, but it produces nice results :p

Huge topic bump, but I was actually wondering if any of you still do the good ol' love letter writing?

I'm just wondering if it still happens within our forum.. I mean we have 65 members and I want to if anyone has ever wrote a love letter or would still write one if the situation allows them too.
