It's not sweet, it has it's own taste, but not like meat. It's one of the tastiest things I can think of, honestly. You don't need sauces or condiments with bacon, its delicious. A little salty depending on which you buy, smoked is very nice.

One of my friends got a an Islamic follower (I think he was arab?) to eat McDonalds during Ramadan, he seemed to wear this as a badge of honor....*shrugs* sometimes I really worry lol
