Psychology is very interesting, though its not what a lot of people think its about. You don't learn how to analyse peoples behavior (at least not until the second year) and its mostly about theories of how the brain works and how disorders are produced. Very little solid facts.
You learn about the biological, cognitive and behavioral sides of psychology which are all very interesting, and when you get to learn about Sigmund Freud....man he has some weird theories xD
So it's partly neurology? Though the lessons are based on theories and not facts.

Yeah, neurology has quite a comfortable place in psychology lessons. Though its more dominated by the cognitive approach.

Ah, I see. Well, they aren't very well paid here and I don't think I've actually seen a psychiatrist's office in the city I live in. I guess you need more psychiatrists in first world countries?
