Been wondering, do any of you guys play Magic the Gathering?
I've gotten into it recently and I've gotta say I find it really fun.
If any of you guys do play, do you play irl, MTGO (Magic the Gathering Online), etc?
(Jonez or miz, if this is in the wrong section could one of ya move it? ^^)

I played Magic 2014 for a couple hours after I got it in a sale.

I play Magic 2014 on Steam and I play irl with my cousin on the occasion. I don't own any cards myself though.
(As long as there's no board for non-electronic gaming, this is the place to be.)

So for those who play the steam games, would you guys be interested in getting together on Cockatrice, building some decks and playing together? Cockatrice is a free alternative to the whole online magic thing and I find it really nice to playtest decks that I build irl.

Played the 2012 version or whatever it was that was free on PS3 a couple'a years back. I don't understand card games...

I'll check it out. Is the gameplay alright?
Yeah, it works fine, you just need to know how to work it, takes about 5 minutes as you have to manually adjust your health, change stages of your turn, pass your turn, etc. Basically its literally irl magic turned into a virtual game because you have to do things like your normally do. Right now I have a mono green commander deck built and a B/R Midrange deck.
