Title: EPSXe woes
Post by: NekoBot on May 15, 2014, 11:50:10 PM
I want to run some PS1 gams but every version of ePSXe that I try, with a number of different configurations (from 1.7 to 1.9) the audio and video studder in each of the 4 games I've tried it out with. This happens during cutscenes and gameplay, and it really is irritating because I want to enjoy these games like I used to years ago. Is it because I'm running windows 8, I see nothing that I'm doing to be wrong

It could be that your PC isn't strong enough to properly emulate PS games.

Which games are you trying to play?

Bugs Bunny Lost in Time

It runs Crash Bandiccot 1 fine though, which, I'd argue is more graphically intensive

It works fine on my computer (using ver. 1.7.0), so I'm guessing it's an issue with the settings.

Can you post your settings? Start with the main and soft video plugins.

I bet ya it's W8's fault.
