I actually read an article about the gaming habits in Japan. And according to that article Pokemon, medabots and games like that which are made to cater to children are generally played by adolescent teens and games like monster hunter are what attract children.
So I guess the makers of Medabots just decided to cater to their current audience.

Shit what did you do? They're pretty durable. Have been dropping mine for the past 4 years and the only issues so far is a right stick that doesn't go all the way up (the stick does, but the device doesn't recognize movement past a certain distance. Looking up in videogames is slower than looking in any other direction) and the rubber grip on the left stick has worn out.

I think I broke a spring or something while playing tomb raider. Basically after you press something the analogue stick is supposed to retract back to the center,right? Well that thing became loose or something maybe so if I move the stick right or downward it gets stuck there.

And now my laptop is making weird sounds. This world hates me.
