Pokemon showdown is basically a pokemon simulator where you can make a team of any pokemon from the current generations, equip them with any item, any nature, any ability (that are applicable to them) and give them any valid moveset. Basically giving you the ability to make your own dream team and then you can go up against other people in competitive matches. You can even distribute your EVs and IVs accordingly.
It's the perfect simulator, allowing you to have all the competitive battling fun of the games without having to go through the dubious process of doing all the hard work. I play it regularly with friends, if anyone wants to play with me. The name's Mr.PowPow.
