Title: Gym antics
Post by: Mr.PowPow on March 08, 2012, 03:57:58 AM
Okay so its not exactly an official sport or anything but it has a sporty theme, lifting weights, running on the treadmill, rowing dem artificial boats xD
So tell me guys, what do you do at the gym?

Well... I was just happy when I finished high school so that I don't have to follow this course. But still... the gym, it's nothing for me. I, personally, don't amuse myself. But it has been proven that it is a good method to keep in shape and the advantage is that you can do it at one place AND do it yourself or with a coach... or with friends.

Yeah those are good points, I personally go the gym from time to time to break some sweat, however it doesnt stop me from looking silly while trying to lift heavy weights, the pressure of those buff guys watching is so hard D:
The treadmill is pretty good, unless you set the speed to a speed that involves you running like a maniac to keep from being dragged backwards xD

Yes I work out at the gym. I swim there, play basketball, treadmill, lift weights, and all of that

I do a different muscle each week. This week I'm working on abs. Next is triceps. Everytime I go, (3-5 times a week) I run 1 or 2 miles on the treadmill. I play basketball for about 30 minutes. And then I go to the hot spa (my fav part).

I sometimes do rock climbing and racquet ball and martial arts, but I'm not too big of a fan for those

I have a fully equipped gym at home, even a padded floor for Ju Jitsu so I do everything from weights, cardio, boxing and martial arts. When I can be bothered of course, its hard to get motivated at home with a PC and half a million ROMs.

I work out at the gym, which is about 2min driving. Close to home, really easy to access. Training 4x a week, and I enjoy it more than anything else.
