I thought this would be a fun little thread for us to discuss great games we've never played, for whatever reason that may be. It could even be a game you've played, but never finished, or a game you might have just tried for a little but never got to actually playing.
I never played the Bioshock franchise, or any Elder Scroll not named Skyrim.
I've also never beaten a Fire Emblem game (I've played a lot of them)
Nor have I beaten any Mass Effect, though I almost completed the first
-
I never finished Skyrim because of the horribly clunky and slow combat system. I haven't even touched the other Elder Scrolls games, although if their combat system is anything like Skyrim's I probably never will.
I've left a few games unfinished because of lost and/or corrupted saves. Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy VI, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and 3rd Birthday to name a few. =/
-
I've never played a single Castlevania game aside from a level or two of an N64 title when I was a kid
-
Never played any CS game even though I was quite into shooters.
-
omg, legend of zelda.
Just legend of zelda in general.
It's like I'm destined to never be able to complete a single legend of zelda game
-
I don't think I've ever played FF7, although this remake is probably gonna be the perfect time to do so!
-
I have never finished any FF either
-
TWEWY ... Yes, since I actually can't get into it. I tried, but I never got past the first few bits.

Well I tried to play it on emulator once.
Didn't even understand what to do after the first few bits >.<

I got pretty far into it but never beat it as the games damn hard.

WOW that's a shocker honestly. Seems like one of the games you play the hell out of...
I never played LoL, DOTA, Guild Wars or any of those popular MMO strategy PC games

Guild Wars is completely different from LoL or Dota. (thank god)

Yeah I know, but it's still a strategy mmo isn't it? But not team oriented iirc

well umm....no not exactly.
Lol dota those are MOBA's which require deep strategizing and only consists of pvp
whereas games like wow and guild wars is mmorpg. Which are much more mild, doesn't exactly require perfect strategizing and isn't entirely dependent on combat and is much more about just experiencing the game.
This is specially in Guild wars's case according to most people. A lot of people seem to agree that guild wars 2 is unique in the fact that there are a lot of unique quests that aren't event entirely combat dependent

Oh yeah, never played any of the Zelda games either.
-
(As a big Zelda fan, I highly recommend them. But hey, finding time for them is another story.)
-
I might have never played them, but I've been exposed to the games so much now that actually playing them myself would be boring because I already know most of what they have to offer.
-
Interesting. Well, glad you are honest about it ^w^.
I have some racing games/fighting games I never played too.

Ack, I know that feeling. Nowadays I usually try to avoid getting too much info about any game I'm interested in.

That's no reason not to play Zelda :(
