I wonder if I'm the guy around that has never played FFVII...(http://puu.sh/tEKX)
FFVII set for PC re-release with achievements and other new stuff. http://finalfantasyviipc.com/en#1 on my wish list =P
What cloud save thingy?
Cloud SavesYou heard of cloud gaming right? Well this sounds like it's all online. It might be just the saves though.
Whether you’re away from home or simply using a different computer to play, enjoy FINAL FANTASY VII wherever you are. With cloud save support in FINAL FANTASY VII you can continue your game progress right where you left off, all you need is an internet connection.
You're absolutely right. Best game ever
Pissed off msg in 3...2...1...You're absolutely right. Best game ever
disagree
I prefer IX. It went back to the traditional format of FF and had a divine music compositionIX had a terrible soundtrack and it felt too childish. The game is good though not better than VII imo

bah humvug i dissagree and standby my statement even if its alone!!!
Pissed off msg in 3...2...1...Nah, I don't get pissed for something like that, you have to seriously do something insulting to get me pissed.
it's only weak point is the graphicsMaybe that's the reason I don't find VII so great. Good 2d graphics are better than blocky 3d.
If you judge a game purely on graphics then you miss out on a lot!it's only weak point is the graphicsMaybe that's the reason I don't find VII so great. Good 2d graphics are better than blocky 3d.

VII was good game with all its game mechanics like the limit breaks and those minigames. But I liked VI a lot more. The character development is great. The golden age of FF was 6-9, all 4 are brilliant and I have no issues with people preferring one of those over the others. VI is probably the best 2D RPG ever made (I actually prefer Lufia 2 but I know im in the minority, it lacks FFVI's production levels but has better/more gameplay). All 4 have their own good and bad points and the quality across all 4 is pretty equal.
Okay, somebody better point me to a good tutorial on how to play this on the PC because all of your posts have got me REALLY REALLY interested now.Just emulate it, it's far easier. I can't get my PC version working on Vista and I've tried everything.
Cloud saving is bacially this: You set cloud saving to on and play the game. When you exit the game, it uploads your save file to the internet. It's an optional feature and you can play the game offline and upload your save to the internet later on when you choose to connect to the internet again. It's a handy feature if you play the game on multiple computers and don't want to fiddle with copying your save manually and putting it in the same place on the other computer(s).What cloud save thingy?Quote from: my linkCloud SavesYou heard of cloud gaming right? Nope. You're not always required to be connected. The only time you have to be connected is if you want to upload your save to the cloud. So you do have to connect though. Another thing that makes me think you will always have to be connected about that Cloud save is that yeah you can use it on another PC, but will you also have to download and install it for every PC you might fancy playing it on? I think that's more hassle than it's worth.
Which, if you're doing all this on Steam, you're probably connected anyway because offline gaming with Steam is a pain in the ass because you can't boot into offline mode if you're already offline because it requires to connect to the server (probably a DRM thing) once before it can go offline.
In FFVII, I couldn't live with myself knowing that I missed even ONE item. That's why I made my own missables guide :3Same dood, though, thats the sorta skill that you learn in FF6. Missing things in that game is horrible.
