Mothers have more rights over children too,

I have to step in and say that children need -less- rights, we keep on giving them more and they abuse it and become disrespectful and full of themselves, rebelling at young ages.
I'm not condoning abusive activities, but mothers do need more rights over children as children are dependent on mothers anyway.

What I meant was women have more rights over custody of their children, fathers rarely get a look in, no matter how bad the mother is. There's no equality in that, woman have more than men in that area.

Oh I see, I apologize for my mistake.
But on that subject its a little muddy, I mean the woman deserves more rights over the child than the father simply because its -the mother-, not in a sexist term but a biological and psychological one. The child will always be more attached to the mother than the father, regardless of how more frequently the father interacts with the child. The first voice the child hears is the mothers, the first person the child sees is the mother. De-tatching the child from the mother is just biologically wrong, the sad fact is that the child can live on without a father with minimal psychological harm, but if the mother is taken out of the equation then the results are far more drastic. Therefore we can't get around that issue, women don't deserve it, but they are granted those rights by nature.
