Cruel. Deadly. Unforgiving. The stone walls of the special Astra prison stenches itself with these qualities. Here, lies most of the innocent travelers who were unfortunate enough to stumble into the kingdom. At least, that what Dynas thought of. He guided his hand through the wet wall while descending through the flight of stairs, occasionally touching mosses that sometimes stick itself on his fingertips. He stopped at last, grabbing a steel bar nearby. "Have you come to take advantage of me as well?" Bellowed a rather feminine voice.
"Please, do not mistake me as such."
"That is what they all say."
"Indeed it is..." The man cloaked in robes leaned at towards the cell to see who he was speaking to. Despite the darkness, the little sunlight helped uncover the mysterious person's features. A woman with hair , jet black and smooth as silk and skin almost flawless, save for a few scars that were apparently present before her capture. Her eyes are alluringly bright crimson, like a ruby. She was rather fit, possibly capable of athletic feats. Dressed in ragged prisoner clothes, it was apparent that she wasn't wearing anything underneath, making Dynas a bit uncomfortable. Regardless, he knew what he would say next would be stupid. It was too late to stop himself."...I can see why the two guards would attempt to take advantage of you."
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?"
"No...uh... I..." Dynas was a bit embarassed for moment, scratching his head and looking at the left in shame. "... I apologize for my manners."
"Who are you?"
Dynas walked on the center of the cell's vision, bowing right after like a gentleman would before a dance. "Dynas, heir to the kingdom of Astrapi, at your service." He rose and looked at the darkness that covers the some of the cage.
"And I wonder which of us is doing service for whom. What are you here for?" She snapped.
"I simply want to help-"
"Then let me out."
"...I cannot do that."
"Hmph. Then what wrong have I done to your kingdom?"
"None."
"THEN WHY AM I HERE!?" The voice echoed throughout the dungeon, joining itself to the whines and cries of misery from other prisoners. "You are a traveler. A Vagus Maledictus, is what we call such people. Here, you are imprisoned. Here, you are cursed. Because that is what the kingdom believes." Dynas explained rather ruefully. The woman lounged at the barrier, grabbing two of the bars and making a loud rattling sound. The prince staggered backward, surprised at the ferocity of the woman. "YOU MEAN TO SAY THAT I WILL STAY HERE UNTIL THE DAY I DIE!?"
"No... you...you have an execution waiting for you in eight months time. Until then, your final days are here..."
Dynas swore that he heard a croak after a long pause. The woman dropped to her knees, still grasping the iron bars. "... Please... leave me be." The woman said, with a bit more hopelessness in her voice than before.
"...Very well." Dynas said. "I will come back tomorrow to check on you. Until then, I will order the guards not to touch you, lest they face the same execution. This is a forbidden act I am doing, mind you." The woman did not respond. "... Farewell, then."Dynas walked away for a few second, before hearing small rattles on the bars. Poor thing.
