Once I stop with school, my parents will lose their child support. It doesn't return when I go back to school afterwards. The first couple years I'll probably still live with my parents and give them a share of my salary or something.

Well that sucks. I say stick it then and do your best, if you dont like it when you finish you can drop it like a shitty rom site with a troll community. You will always have a back up plan if all else fails.
