and in regards to the new character having magic, its true that upon creation of a replacement character they won't have Magic. However Magic can only be passed on by Darka as the body needs to be struck with pure Black Magic (and the subjects need to survive). You're characters cannot harness pure Black Magic, only a select portion of it, thus your chosen elements.

I say bullshit cameos because all cameos after a character's importance has passed are all kind of bullshit and usually take up the side-stories instead.
